Questions about Plugin dependencies

Hi,

I have two questions regarding the Plugin dependencies:

1. Is there is special reason why the config option
   "Enable dependecies at runtime" is off by default?

2. Are there any plans to generate the plugin infos
   with forward _and_ backward dependency links?

   Background of this question is that it might
   be a nice feature in the client to switch on/off
   dependent Plugins immediately when switching
   a (base) plugin on/off (or/and inform the user
   respectively).
   Currently a user can not know that some
   plugins are not executed anymore because she
   switched of a plugin.
