Hi. I have

[kayve@kv_bsd ~]$ uname -a
FreeBSD kv_bsd 6.3-STABLE FreeBSD 6.3-STABLE #0: Wed May 7 19:40:55 PDT
2008 root@kv_bsd:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/GENERIC i386
[kayve@kv_bsd ~]$

running gnome2 desktop and currently, installed:

[kayve@kv_bsd ~]$ pkg_info | grep essus
pkg_info: show_file: can't open '+COMMENT' for reading

given ne
nessus-libnasl-2.2.9_1 Nessus Attack Scripting Language
nessus-libraries-2.2.9_1 Libraries for Nessus, the security scanner
[kayve@kv_bsd ~]$

It was a struggle, but I got a nessus GUI. I guess a mistake was
doing the /usr/port/security/nessus port before the plugins
port. Currently, when I start up my computer 20K+ plugins install,
and it sort of takes a while, with some not found errors that I
thought would show up in dmesg, but no such luck. I know that
previously I had nessus 3.2 which I guess is the most
current version. I am a little afraid to futz with things,
because I have to at least learn how to make this GUI work, but
I was wondering if someone could help me get current and fix
these boot up errors. Will boot up always take this long even
if the errors get fixed? I think it was a bit quicker when
I think I had nessus 3.2 (with no GUI)

Thanks in advance.
