The remote server abruptly closed the connection: 0 6

I am running client and server on the same Windows 2008 machine. When I try to scan certain machines I get the following error "The remote server abruptly closed the connection: 0 6". I am using the unchanged default scan policy. Can anyone explain why this is happening and how to prevent it? David Nessus Newbie
