This suggests that the server's up but doesn't support TLS/SSL. There  
can be several reasons for this; eg,

   o Nessus wasn't built (or built properly) with OpenSSL.

   o You haven't installed a server certificate, updated the server's
      configuration to use that, or restarted the server. The first two
      steps can be handled by running "nessus-mkcert".

   o SSL / TLS is disabled in the server's configuration; ie,  
nessusd.conf
      contains the line "ssl_version = NONE".

Looks like the first reason I mentioned above is not the problem in  
your case.
