After participating in all of the first 13 years of GSoC, we decided to take a year off last year, as described at http://seclists.org/nmap-dev/2018/q1/23. We haven't decided yet on whether to come back for 2019. A lot of it depends on how much interest we have from prospective students and mentors. Of course it is also subject to Google running the program again and accepting us as an org. We will probably decide early next year. The program has been wonderful for us in the past, and we like to think our 82 GSoC students benefited too. I had dinner with several of them earlier this month at Defcon.
