NMAP scan from windows - How to prevent huge list of local open ports

Each time performing local network scan from windows:

(e.g. 'nmap.exe 172.16.0.0/24')

nmap print list of all open ports on machine on the one the nmap is started, which is usualy a huge list :-/ Could the localhost machine scanning be somehow omited without manually specify --exclude or --excludefile?
