August 12, 2003 -- The final version of NIST Special Publication 800-59, 
"Guideline for Identifying an Information System as a National Security 
System" is now available. The document provides guidance on how to 
determine whether an information system meets the new legislative 
definition for "national security systems" (FISMA, Title III, Public Law 
107-347).
