June 30, 2003 -- The second pubic draft of NIST Special Publication 800-37, 
Guide for the Security Certification and Accreditation of Federal 
Information Systems, has been completed and is available for public 
comment. This document is one of a series of security standards and 
guidelines being developed by NIST's Computer Security Division in response 
to the Federal Information Security Management Act of 2002. For additional
