Right, I wasn't thinking of this case.  Ok then, can we at least make
the number of iterations used defined in some easy to modify location
so those that want to, can modify that value in the source and
recompile their own version to use a value higher than the mininum PDA
user setting?

As for the configurable # of hashes being patented, I don't remember
it being as such, but you never know these days with software patents.
 Very sad indeed.
