H-Field 04
Suggest to stay with the definition as a time_t. By this all time fields 
can be treated in the same manner and issues like number of bytes etc. 
apply to all.

H-Field 05
The definition in format3.txt is still demanding.  It should be improved 
by something like the following:

Text (representation as in 3.1.2) saved in the format:: nnnnu..uh..h, where: 
    nnnn = 4 hexadecimal digits giving the length of the user name (u)
    u..u = user name
    h..h = host computer name


H-Fields 07 + 08
I can live with the description field to be unlimited, but I want the 
name field limited. It is meant as a single line expression of not 
oversizing length. Not every text field has to be a free text field!
