Browse to URL broken w/ 3.29 on Linux (was Re: Announcing PasswordSafe 3.29)

Hi,

I just upgraded from 3.24 (plus my enhancements) to 3.29 on RH5 (built
from source.)

It was nice to see that my enhancements (UsePrimarySelectionForClipboard
and enabling the "Go" button) have been included and are working.  Thanks!

But I see one big issue: The URL when doing "Browse to URL" or using
the "Go" button is wrong.  Specifically, the current directory is
prepended to the entry's URL.  So for example, for SomeShop.com I
get "/home/rader/https://someshop.com/login.asp" instead of just
"https://someshop.com/login.asp"

Is this a fixed issue, a known issue, or should I investigate/fix??

PS: "PasswordSafe (linux) v0.8 (exported) beta".  Really?  I've been using
pwsafe on linux almost daily for over two and a half years.  Isn't it kinda
silly and confusing to have a divergent version--especially a .0 one?
