Read-only mode not working

Dear pwsafe developers,

I use pwsafe in read-only mode. Yet, occasionally I detect* changes to my password file. Clearly, this should not happen, hence, I believe there's a bug. I see it every week-or-so. Unfortunately, I have been unable to recreate the bug. I'm reporting here in the hope that someone is able to recreate. 

* I use unison to sync directories and unison reports a change.
