Can you tell us a bit more about how this happened? What was the previous
version of password safe that you were using? (There might be a problem with
databases created with versions older than 1.7) Can you create a new
database and open it correctly?

  I ran into a little problem though: after entering my password nothing
happens. No error, no window with all the passwords.

  I tried upgrading to the latest version, I tried looking in the WinXP log
files, but nothing shows up.

  I don't know how to debug a C++ app.

  Does somebody know what the problem might be?
