Hi, what I do to avoid inconsistent databases on various locations is: I hold the passwordsafe with its database on my USB-stick, and start looking for passords always from there. I only hold a backup from the stick on my local computer. This has the disatvantage, that you always have to carry the stick with you, but the advantage is, that you don't have to worry about synchronising various locations. If you don't have a stick always with you, simply copy the up to date mySave.dat file to your locations. I do the same thing. In fact, I frequently just e-mail the Password Safe database from work to home (or vice versa). However, when go to do the export, the dialog box includes the message, "This operation will create an unprotected copy of ALL of the passwords in the database. Deleting this copy after use is *NOT* sufficient. This bypasses the security of the program." If deleting the copy is not sufficient, why not, and what would be sufficient?
