There is no one official set of definitions. Use whatever you think looks best on your business cards, and your boss doesn't object to. We could have a very lengthy thread trying (in vain) to define the exact differences between: - programmers (and whether it should have one m or two) - coders - systems analysts - software engineers - systems engineers - software developers - system developers - software architects - system architects and probably several more. About half of these have been my title at some point. Let's not, and deny we even thought about it! -Dave
