SUMMARY

Veritas Backup Exec Agent is - "A Fast, flexible technology to protect 
vital Exchange Server 5.5, 2000 and 2003 data while the application is 
online. This agent provides full or incremental, or differential backup 
and restore of embedded objects, attributes, and all Outlook components."

Exploitation of a buffer overflow vulnerability in the VERITAS Backup Exec 
Remote Agent for Windows Servers allows remote attacker to gain privileged 
access on the vulnerable system.
