Re: shorewall startup

Are you running Shorewall as a system service?

Under Debian I ran once:

systemctl enable shorewall

Shorewall then starts at boot, and can be managed as a service.

To check status:

systemctl status  shorewall

You also have a range of other commands, e.g.:

systemctl stop shorewall

systemctl start shorewall

Etc.

Adjust as required for Centos. I’m not sure what that distribution uses to manage services.
