Socket6::gethostbyname2 not implemented on this architecture

With Shorewall6 5.2.8 on Fedora 35, I am getting:

Socket6::gethostbyname2 not implemented on this architecture at /usr/share/perl5/vendor_perl/Shorewall/IPAddrs.pm line 512, <$currentfile> line 37.

Shorewall6 has worked fine in the past, for a very long time.

Is use of Socket6::gethostbyname2 new in some recent release of
Shorewall?

Is it really possible that Socket6::gethostbyname2 is not implemented
on a modern and recent distro such as Fedora?

Any ideas?
