The easiest way would be adding it to a boot server on the same subnet, if
you have one. And then run "boot net" from the OBP on the Sparc10.  When it
boots up from the boot server, and the GUI shows up, stop the installation
by Ctrl+C, and mount the root filesystem to /a, before changing the
/a/etc/shadow for root.  And then reboot.

Is there a way to recover a password from an old Sun
Sparc10 without a working CDROM drive?  I can't find
anything online that explains a process of doing so.
