Re: E450 - hangs when booting without keyboard and monitor

In the PROM set input and output device to ttya and (if needed which it won't be 
with the laptop connected) pull the control lines the correct way with 
resistors.  Make sure the laptop mimics a vt100 at the same settings as are in 
the PROM.  Better get a genuine vt100 and connect that, you can disconnect it 
once booted.  Our E450 runs into a multipole switch that selects which one of 
many computers the single vt100 (god bless DEC) displays.
