Would the scan requests be executed one at the time? Yes it can depending on your CPU cores and available RAM : If you have only 1 cpu core, it will scan 1 file by one. If you have 4 cpu cores, it will scan 4 files at the same time. If you have 32 cpu cores, it will scan 32 files at the same time. Now, if each file is 4 Gb : If you have only 1 cpu core, you will need more than 4 Gb of RAM If you have 32 cpu cores, you will need more than 128 Gb of RAM. > What would you recommend otherwise? It can be a paid service too. You can contact me if you need a ClamAV server with 32 cores as a paid service. -- Cordialement / Best regards, Arnaud Jacques Gérant de SecuriteInfo.com Téléphone : +33-(0)3.60.47.09.81 E-mail : [email protected] Site web : https://www.securiteinfo.com Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/pages/SecuriteInfocom/132872523492286 Twitter : @SecuriteInfoCom Writing signatures for ClamAV antivirus since 2006 _______________________________________________ Manage your clamav-users mailing list subscription / unsubscribe: https://lists.clamav.net/mailman/listinfo/clamav-users Help us build a comprehensive ClamAV guide: https://github.com/Cisco-Talos/clamav-documentation https://docs.clamav.net/#mailing-lists-and-chat
