I'm trying to get samba-vscan 0.3.5 out :-) You can grab alpha1 from

Here's the snippet from NEWS file:

* skip scan of a file completely based on its file type
* bug fix for the least recently opened file mechanism which
~  may have caused an smbd segfault
* vscan-symantec module actually builds now
* vscan-clamav can now be build for use of libclamav instead of
~  clamd (this is mutal exclusive). If linked against libclamav
~  loading of the vscan-clamav module causes smbd to hang. Reason
~  yet unknown
* added support for NAI/McAfee uvscan. Contributed by Arturo
~  Alberto Busleiman
* added support for F-Secure AV. Contributed by Oliver Jehle
* fixed a memory leak as some file descriptors were never closed
* fixed a compilation issue on FreeBSD (probably other *BSD-like
~  systems as well)
* updated documentation to reflect recent changes
