Hello,

I'm working for the french national education and we're packaging file=20
servers for schools.
Our servers are linux based with the Mandrake distribution.
We already configured samba and clamav (homedirs are scanned every night=20
thanks too the cron).
So I put samba-vscan on our server. Il works very fine. But it would be=20
better if the variables : quarantine directory, quarantine prefix were=20
used and if the original name of the file (ex : Myfile.doc) was kept...
I saw the comment /* FIXME: tempnam should be avoided */ in=20
global/vscan-quarantine.c, so I know that you know this problem.
I tried to make it work with some functions like pstrcat but I don't=20
reach too extact the filename from virus_file (I tried=20
strrchr(virus_file,"/"); ).
Can you help me ?

Regards

Jo=EBl

PS : Are this kind of messages normal when use "make" :
nai/vscan-mcdaemon_core.po(.text+0x29f):/home/.../samba-vscan-0.3.5/nai/v=
scan-mcdaemon_core.c:124:=20
undefined reference to `safe_strcat_fn'
