ADMIN: ML archives

Hi!

First of all, the ML archives of the openantivirus-* lists is either
located at SF.net or MARC (marc.theaimsgroup.com). MARC does not offer
the openantivirus-cvs list.

I actually received a mail from GMANE today (it was actually send
to the -admin address). Stefan unfortunately did not send a notice to me
before.

Second, I asked them to do address "encryption" (see
http://gmane.org/tmda.php) - this can be don on a per mail basis, too.
But I didn't get a response from the GMANE folks yet, but the mails
are already archived (see
http://news.gmane.org/gmane.comp.security.virus.openantivirus.general)

Moreover, GMANE supports the X-Archive header. See
http://gmane.org/expiry.php for details. This can be used to _not_
archive a mail.

GMANE also offers to import a ML archive, i.e. old mails
(http://gmane.org/import.php). This has not been done yet. If this
causes too much headache for most of you, I won't import the old mails.
But keep in mind, the old ones are already archived by SF.net and MARC. 

Comments et al are very welcome. But please do not crosspost through the
list, discuss it on openantivirus-discuss only. You're also welcome to
discuss this issue with me via private mail. 

Probably a list policy, which is available on our web site, is a good
idea. Suggestions are very welcome, too. 

I apologize for not informing you prior and give you the chance to discuss
it. 

Please do not expect a faster answer to your mails, as I'm busy with my 
full-time job.  I hope I'm able to answer your mails at night.
