Hi,

Thanks a lot that was the problem I changed engine.tempdirectory=3D/temp =
to
engine.tempdirectory=3D/tmp, then run a test like this...

# telnet localhost 8127
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
scan /tmp/msg_juancarlos.zip
FOUND 'Worm.SomeFool.P (Clam)' in '/tmp/msg_juancarlos.zip >>
zip:document.txt =
=20
        .exe'
Connection closed by foreign host.
#

....and it works fine.

-I'm so sorry to abuse but...- does any one knows a site where I can get
directions to make ScannerDaemon works with amavisd. The main objetive is
to protecet tha inner users of my email service.

Thanks a lot for your help,

Alvaro

This is what went wrong: your temporary directory is /temp but yout=20
checked the permissions on /tmp.
