Does anyone knows how to contact the authors of the Oyster scan engine?
They claim a speed-up of 4.5 versus the ClamAV engine while the new OAV
engine implemented in Java is 5.75 times faster than ClamAV written in
C. So I guess we could join our effords and create an algorithm that is
even faster. Sorting the colliding patterns is one thing I haven't
thought of, so there is space for improvement.
