Anyone / Everyone,

I have a small problem setting up samba-vscan for clamav.

(1) ClamAV is setup to run as its own user clamav. This is usually
no problem; but, this messes with samba when I try to use samba-vscan.
(2) The problem is, I get errors that the file access is denied.

| Apr 5 09:25:18 beta smbd_vscan-clamav[23076]: ERROR: file
| /home/jkosin/rpm/patch/clitar.patch.txt not found, not readable or
| an error occured
| Apr 5 09:25:18 beta smbd_vscan-clamav[23076]: ERROR: daemon failed
| with a minor error - access to file rpm/patch/clitar.patch.txt denied
| Apr 5 09:32:23 beta smbd_vscan-clamav[23076]: INFO: disconnected

Any idea what I can try?

Thanks,
James Kosin
