I'm hoping so too.  But, I fear the samba sources are moving too fast
for the maintainer to keep up on these.

I took a closer look and you seem to have the sources... however, some
of the header files are created by the ./configure script when you build
samba.  These are probably what is missing.  I use RPMs and have to keep
the samba-3.x.x source build around along with all the object files to
build the samba-vscan (or attempt to).
I may also have to find some time in the future to help out on this.
I've been lacking the samba-vscan module for many versions of samba
now... :-(
