No, it's not a stupid question :) In your case, the notification
is sent by clamd, but not all virus scanners being used by samba-vscan
do this.

Currently, samba-vscan does not send an email notfication (should
I add this to the TODO list?), but this can be done by any logwatching
program as samba-vscan logs virus events via syslog.
