Hello all out there

I try to install sophie-3.04rc2 op an hp-ux 11.00 environment. It goes wrong
at the part where the libsavi.so is needed: the following part is the output
of the ./configure command:

omnitr2:/swdepot/sophie-3.04rc2 root: # ./configure

** libsavi library NOT FOUND
** You need libsavi in order to use Sophie.
** Download it at http://www.sophos.com/

the libsavi is availeble in /usr/local/lib but it's not an .so file but an
.sl :
-r-xr-x-r-x	1	bin	bin	2389020 jan 28	09:10
libsavi.3.2.07.046
lrwxr-xr-x	1	root	sys	        18 jan 28	09:10
libsavi.sl ->libsavi.3.2.07.046
I created a softlink as an so file but that isn't solving the problem
Is there somebody out there that can help me with this problem ??
