We switched to 3.78d on linux glibc2.2 (RedHat 8.0) and have not had any problems yet. :) It looks like Sohpos has corrected the race / looping condition that was causing the denial of service problems. It's simply ammazing what a little bit of bad press can do. :) 3.78d has been the best release Sophos has had in quite a while! > Im still on 3.76 :) > > Is it possible to download 3.76 (I can't find my CD) in case, that > something goes wrong? I don't know if Sophos makes previous version available. We just move forward and if something goes really wrong, we contact Sophos support and don't hang up until they help. We have only had one incident where we had no option, that was upgrading from 3.73 to 3.76. The .ide updates had gone away for 3.73. 3.74 & 3.75 had extreme denial of service problems and 3.76 was giving us the same problem. Sophos releases 3.76N NSV and that had been pretty good. - Bill > Thanks!
