Only mails directed to local users are checked for viruses. If an email is
sent to a mailing list, from valid (subscribed) email address, it doesn't
get scanned for viruses, just delivered to susbcribers (I'm still (ouch!)
using bit modified Virge, which is invoked only for local deliveries).

If I would migrate to amavisd-new, for example, would I be able to scan
mails that are only being 'relayed' (to say so), and not delivered
locally? (I presume I can find it on Google, but I'd rather hear it from
someone who uses it on a daily basis :).

Thanks.
