Trophie gets signal 11 after update?

Hello,

I understand that Trophie is ...hum... a "mature" program, but just in
case I'd give this a chance: since I've cooked up a script to download
Trend  CPR  releases  and unpack them in the Trend's root dir, Trophie
has started to misbehave: a flood of:

Mar  8 16:33:50 mail-gate trophie[8130]: SIGNAL [11] caught - cleaning up and exiting.

show up in the logs, triggered by the updates.

I   do   it   as   close   as   I   can   to  the  way  the  excellent
sophie-ide-update.pl  script  does  it  for  Sophie,  determining   if
something (libvsapi.so and lpt$vpn.*) has changed and sending a SIGHUP
to Trophie if it has.

Has  Trophie  ever  been  supposed  to support SIGHUP reliably or am I
asking  for  too much? Can in-place updates of the current lpt$vpn.NNN
and/or  libvsapi.so kill it like this? (the CPR releases can share the
same lpt$vpn.NNN name for several versions)

Vanja, any insight? Or am I on my own here? ;-)
