I'm running sophie under svscan (from the djb tools collection). When I receive a pattern update from sophos, I kill running sophie instances with a SIGHUP, which causes them to reload. Last night an update put sophie in a state such that it was up and running but hadn't created the socket. Is SIGHUP the wrong way to handle these updates? -- Michael D. Jurney [email protected]
