Ok, I'll take a look at that then.  I did notice that my scan times went way down after putting in the '*'.  Average time / email is now around 800ms instead of 11000ms.  But I do understand that passing a bunch of files is not necessarily a good thing.

The {}/* is a quick-fix hack to bypass the Sophie problem.

A fix at the source of a problem is preferred
(it is also more optimal to just pass a directory name
to Sophie, instead of individually listing each file).
