sophie not scanning

hi again. I still am having problems with gettin sophie to scan from exim using the latest version of libsavi and sophie. root@scarab:/var/log# sweep -v SWEEP virus detection utility Copyright (c) 1989-2005 Sophos Plc, www.sophos.com System time 12:01:57, System date 29 June 2005 Product version : 3.94.0 Engine version : 2.30.5 Virus data version : 3.94 User interface version : 2.07.098 Platform : Linux/Intel Released : 06 June 2005 Total viruses (with IDEs) : 104784 It works fine on solaris using Copyright (c) 1989-2005 Sophos Plc, www.sophos.com System time 12:02:34, System date 29 June 2005 Product version : 3.91.0 Engine version : 2.28.4 Virus data version : 3.91 User interface version : 2.07.087 Platform : Solaris/SPARC Released : 07 March 2005 Total viruses (with IDEs) : 103507 we cant update this because of the same problem... It just doesnt scan!!!!! sophie runs as user exim. Ive tried chown'ing sophie, the socket to exim but still nothing Ive tried changing the user that sophie runs as in /etc/sophie.cfg to root, nothing. but if i do a sample_app /tmp/sophie eicar.com it detects it no bother. Is there anything else I need to check becuase this is now getting serious. Ronan
