As we're talking of product leaders... Seen from the desktop view, one of them surely is Spybot Search & Destroy, which is additionally as cheap as it gets: Freeware. Safer Networking, its vendor, has recently developed an administration suite, too. This is not free, but still very cheap, and may be a good choice for those who do not mind having to manage seperate AV and Anti-Adware solutions, even more so if equipped with a limited budget and still look for a hard to beat solution (if combined with an infrastructually suited Antivirus solution). http://www.safer-networking.ie/
