Nortel Contivity Client for Mac OS X

I'm a Mac guy in a PC world. I have access to my company's VPN via the Windows Contivity Client but they will not support my Macintosh. If I can get it to work on my own they are fine with it but they will offer no support. I've downloaded the OS X client and set the parameters so that they match those of my Windows client but I can't access the VPN. Is there something that needs to be done on administrator's part to allow me access? If that is the case, is there some way that I can take advantage of the fact that i can log in from my PC in order to use my Mac? Thanks all for your attention.
