Thanks to all who replied.

Summary: There is currently no client -- including the KAME code in OS X --
that works with Avaya's VSU when using SecurID tokens.

Avaya does not have a Mac client. I looked at clients from Equinix and Apani
as well as KAME (and a couple of GUIs for KAME). No dice. The issue is that
SecurID works with XAUTH, and each vendor does XAUTH a little differently
(OK, sometimes more than a little).

None of the offerings currently support SecurID/XAUTH-authenticated
connections with the Avaya VSU.

I'd be very happy to have the above assertion proven wrong.
