It worked okay for me on Win2k Server SP3, but WinXP Pro SP1 returned:
 "You're running Windows XP SP0 in A:\(unknown)
Installed hotfixes: .
It took 0.671 seconds to detect this."

I'm pretty sure I didn't boot from A:\...
