Well, because I am somewhat paranoid and do not usually trust any tools
published or advertised over mailing lists I checked it using IDA Pro
Standard and I cannot find any malicious code. So I guess the tool can be
used. (I confess it was a superficial analysis ;)

Though a little typo was found:
"DynamicBAcklogGrowthDelta" -> "DynamicBacklogGrowthDelta"

And a bug: The tool claims on a Windows 2000 Pro and Server with latest
patches and latest IE version that a tabctl32 was not correctly registered.

;-) okay, I am a bit pedantic ;-)
