Neil: Heya; welcome back. :) Had a quick protocol-level question about Zebedee for you: > > Zebedee is best used with protocols that keep the tcp > > connection open all the time or as long as possible (IMAP4 > > connections for example) > > That's correct. > > > This is something which Neil, the programmer, has commented > > on also, but I think he never got to fixing the protocol in > > that regard. > > Several people have suggested that Zebedee should multiplex tunnelled > connections between client and server over a single TCP connection. > That would lower (but not entirely elminate) the tunnel setup cost. > However, this would require a complete rework of the protocol. If client1 and client2 are both connected from the same source to the same server, I was curious how the protocol distinguished them. I presume the two sessions have different session keys, so there must be some "channel" distinction included in the header...? Regarding 2.6, how can I help with the documentation work? -Scott ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net email is sponsored by Shop4tech.com-Lowest price on Blank Media 100pk Sonic DVD-R 4x for only $29 -100pk Sonic DVD+R for only $33 Save 50% off Retail on Ink & Toner - Free Shipping and Free Gift. http://www.shop4tech.com/z/Inkjet_Cartridges/9_108_r285
