Hi. > Sometimes, when the ADSL line disconnect (approx 2-3 times per day) the > database application sends message "cannot establish connection" and has to > restart. It seems to be not ZeBeDee stuff. I think you (or your programmers) should rewrite the DB application code so it don't show error message and reconnect programmatically. After several unsuccessful reconnects you have to show this error but not every time you can resolve this problem without user warning. In every case ZeBeDee cannot establish connection with remote Firebird server alone without Firebird client activity. ZeBeDee knows NOTHING about Firebird! It can organize tunnel for EVERY application you need and this aplication is ABOVE ZeBeDee, not on the same layer. By the way auto-reconnect is the common database application task. So if you don't have the application source code you cannot solve this problem. -- Best regards, Vasily ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Power Architecture Resource Center: Free content, downloads, discussions, and more. http://solutions.newsforge.com/ibmarch.tmpl
