First, thanks to all that tried to help. On the zebedee server side there were no firewalls at all, however with a port scan from remote the standard zebedee port 11965 seemed to be filtered. Not closed of course, since it was properly routed through the router to the server, but still not properly working. Some provider firewall in between? From the provider we got no help at all, as usual.
