Seeing that the list is somewhat active again, it might be wortwhile to chime in with a question ;-) Has anyone run Zebedee on Vista? More specifically, has anyone managed to get a working Windows SMB VPN using Zebedee? The reason I'm asking is that I read somewhere that it's no longer possible to get Windows Vista to stop listening for SMB traffic on port 445 -- which makes SMB tunneling impossible on a machine that also works as a server (you must disable Windows file sharing to get it to work, which in most cases means a separate gateway machine). I depend heavily on Zebedee SMB tunneling and build all my networks with it, but I haven't got access to a Vista machine right now... -- Magnus Wedberg http://www.magnuswedberg.com/ mw AT 9000.org Warning!
