I'm running Zebedee 2.5.3 perfectly fine on Vista SP1 (client) and XP
SP3 (server). I've successfully tunneled to a SOCKS server, HTTP
proxy, and VNC server that I set up. I've tunneled from the office,
and also from public wi-fi hotspots. Also done file transfers both
ways, via Ultravnc.

For Vista, my UAC is set to "quiet mode". On the XP server, I've set a
firewall exception for the zebedee.exe app, and not just a specific
port.

However, I did encounter "screen freeze" problems with certain
versions of VNC, namely Tightvnc and Realvnc. I switched to Ultravnc
(http://www.uvnc.com), and everything's been working fine so far. Not
sure who's to blame for the freezes; maybe the other VNCs don't like
to be tunneled?
