I did put a fix for this in 2.5.2, but you're right too in that it appears
still to be broken on Windows. I now have full fix, which will be in the
next version. If you need a quick fix, and can rebuild from source then
comment out the fclose(stdout/stdin/stderr) lines in the makeDetached
routine. This was a tough one to track down because it works on other
platforms, and there was nothing wrong with the fix I added in itself.
However, I seem to have run into a bizarre Windows bug ... yet another one
:-)
