Please checkout the available WYSIWYG editor plugins for Xinha, TinyMCE
and FCKEditor. They are available via Spartacus plugin or
http://spartacus.s9y.org/

The default WYSIWYG component HTMLArea does work in Firefox and Safari,
though.
