When a patch comes out, the admin interface notifies me that a newer version is available. When an update on one of my installed modules is available, my admin interface notifies me when I log in. I have an option in the admin interface that says "Packages". I go to that and I can see what I have installed. If there's an update, I click on it and it's downloaded and installed by the application. They use an XML manifest system, but it's really nice and it makes it convienent for end users who aren't very familiar with applying security patches to keep an application up to date. It even tests the files included in the update to see if I have any custom changes and warns me before I do the installation. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=542825&aid=1669670&group_id=75065 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
